Linux and Unix Graphical Console
On servers with a graphical console enabled, the iTivity iAgent automatically detects the X11 desktop and reports it to the iManager. From the iManager you can double-click on the X desktop icon to access the graphical desktop before or after login. While connected to the system console, you have full mouse and keyboard control.
Windows Console
iTivity provides two ways to access the graphical console of Windows servers and desktops. You can view the existing Windows console in screen sharing mode. This allows you to interact with the console mouse and keyboard while the physical console retains the same ability. In addition, you can also use the RDP console option to take over the remote server console so that you have exclusive access. Either way, iTivity supports efficient remote system support and administration.
Linux and Unix TTY Console
iTivity iAgents can be bundled with Tridia's award winning DoubleVision Pro software to provide direct access to all TTYs, including the Unix and Linux system console.
Total Access
The iTivity remote console server architecture easily traverses customer NAT, firewalls, HTTP and SOCKS proxy servers. Configured in on-demand or always-on mode, you will have reliable access to your mission critical systems.
Productivity
iTivity improves productivity by allowing you to support more systems, with more access options and close more cases with fewer people. You can use RDP, VNC, SSH, SFTP, HTTP and telnet over a fast OpenSSL connection for secure remote access and file transfer to and from enterprise servers and desktops. Resolving support cases quickly and accurately is a key driver for higher customer satisfaction.
Platforms
You can access and support many different platforms with iTivity remote console software. On Windows systems, iTivity makes it easy to view/share or take control of the console session on Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2008 and Windows 2003. On Linux systems, iTivity provides point-and-click access to the graphical X11 desktop on RedHat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Suse Enterprise, IBM AIX, HP/UX, Oracle Solaris and SCO OpenServer.
